In a very short time we will be entering into a new year. For many years I would sit down and write out my New Year Resolutions.  But in the last few years I stopped that practice. I found that I would be real diligent for about 3 months and then I found myself starting to slack off. Now I set monthly goals and at the end of each month I check off if I accomplished my goal or not. So what about you? Resolution yes or no?

    Conchetta,

I agree, I stopped setting resolutions many years ago, for the same reason.
Now I set intentions, and have added the practice of gratitude each morning and evening to keep me grounded with my intentions for the day, month and year!
Looking forward to an outstanding 2022!

    Helen

Yes! I have a gratitude journal that I write down at least 3 things I am grateful for each day

    Conchetta,
Talking about gratitude, wasn't our Fireside Chat perfect?
Jean Hicks led an engaging discussion and shared a plethora of tips and tools on "Ways to Stress Less & Add Joy to Your Holidays".

Attendees shared how they plan to implement many of the takeaways well beyond the holidays!
what a perfect way to wrap up 2021….

I've never made resolutions. I set goals and make a plan. I try to plan out the year, so that I don't get off track.

Planning is a good thing. I find that when I write my plans down it  keeps me on  track. I have been working on my plan for 2022.
